Boys Be is a Kansai Jr. unit. The name "Boys Be" was an acronym for "Bokura wa Osaka no Yanchana Shounen" (We are the Michevious Boys from Osaka). Their group name was given by Kanjani8's Ohkura Tadayoshi and Yokoyama You.

Background[]
Boys Be was formed and introduced during Naniwa Danshi's "Aoharu ~Shall We~ Concert" on November 22, 2020 with 11 members: Ito Atsushi, Sumi Shintaro, Senda Aoi, Maruoka Kosei, Ikegawa Yukiya, Sakimoto Kotaro, Yamanaka Itsuki, Kitamura Jintaro, Kamei Kairi, Uegaki Kosuke, and Iwakura Tsukasa.
During Kansai Johnny's Jr Akeome 2021 concert, they are seen performing with 9 members with Ito, Sumi, Senda, Yamanaka, Ikegawa and Maruoka. Along with Nakagawa Seita, and (now AmBitious member) Nagaoka Leo and Inoue Ichita. However, it was never confirmed whether they were official members or not.
On September 20, 2021, Kanjani8 Maruyama Ryuhei announced Nakagawa as a new member, making Boys Be a 12-member group.
On August 20, 2023, with the renewal of ISLAND TV Website, Boys Be has been officially have their unit page in the Johnny's Jr website.
On April 16, 2024, it was revealed on the Junior Youtube Channel that 73 Kansai Juniors, including AmBitious and Boys Be, will take over the Tuesday slot in the channel (formerly was Ae! Group's slot).
On May 1, 2024 It was announced on the Junior Fanclub that member Yamanaka Itsuki will be removed from Boys Be and will be added as a member of AmBitious, making Boys Be an 11-member group.
